An advance screening of Australian action adventure comedy Rough Stuff will be taking place in Castle Hill, NSW.

Be one of the first to watch the film on the big screen and have the chance to meet Director Jonathan Adams as well as other cast and crew. Hear stories from the set of this epic and ambitious film, ask a question, maybe pick up a signed poster!

SYNOPSIS

An activist group makes a deal with treasure-seeking Rovers and their modified four-wheel-drives for an expedition through treacherous Australian terrain. Tensions rise and ulterior motives are revealed with exciting off-road chases, daring rescues and amazing discoveries to follow.

WALKLEY AWARDS DOCO SCREENINGS FOR 2016

Where: Metcalfe Auditorium, The State Library of NSW

Six outstanding documentaries longlisted for the 2016 Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism will be screened at the State Library of NSW in Sydney in October, giving the public a free viewing of the finest work in the field over the past year.From tragedy on Mount Everest to Pauline Hanson’s political career, these films showcase the very best in Australian longform journalism.
All six films will be screened for the public at the State Library of NSW over the two evenings of Tuesday October 18 and Wednesday October 19
The Walkley Documentary Award Shortlist will be unveiled at the State Library of NSW on Thursday October 13 as part of the 2016 Walkley Awards finalists announcements.
ALL SESSIONS ARE FREE BUT YOU MUST RSVP.
The winner will be announced at the 61st Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism on Friday December 2

Crushed is the story of a young woman who returns home to her family vineyard after her father dies in an accident on the winery. But when his death is ruled a murder and her mother becomes the prime suspect, she must uncover the truth. Australia’s stunning wine country is the backdrop for this thrilling murder mystery.
