This semester there is a particular abundance of students doing the undergrad. subject Media Arts project and we have a huge amount of Project Runners/Directors. This means that they are in need of eager crew members to help make their projects possible. It is highly encouraged that students in lower years of the course dive in head first and put up their hands to crewing on projects. This is the best way to gain valuable experience…and gain a clearer sense of direction for your career pathway following your degree at UTS. The same applies to post graduate students in the MA!
Particularly needed amongst current projects are:
Audio: Recordist, Bom Operator, Sound Designer
Lighting: Gaffer and Best Boys
If you are interested in being involved in a project, jump on the MAP Facebook Group and write a post. You’ll be contacted within minutes (trust me).
Attention all project runners: I will do a post about last minute crew needed in a large single post between Monday 22nd and Friday 26th August. Please send any crew requests on Monday 22nd August to have them featured in the post.
Please include in this order:
- Project Name
- Format: Fiction/Doco/Other form of media (eg. installation, web-based)
- Project Logline
- Crew role/s still needed
- Shooting dates (include tentative start/finish times where possible)
