Kino Sydney’s celebrating its 10th Birthday: 10 years, 112 screenings, 1100 short films, countless filmmakers, friendships formed and good times had.

Kino showcases Sydney’s diverse scene of local filmmakers as they premiere  a range of short films. Discover new filmmakers and re-connect with Kino’s finest from the past decade. Celebrate with pizza and drinks, and dance the night away with music programming.

WHEN: MONDAY 5TH DECEMBER

TIME: 6-10PM

WHERE: 107 Projects – 107 Redfern Street, Redfern

Tickets are only $10 – and include short films, filmmaker Q&As, pizza, music, and good times.

Make a film inspired by Kino Sydney

OR

Make a film that starts in 2006 and ends in 2016.

My Rode Reel Short Film Competition

This is the world’s largest short film competition, with an incredible $300,000 in prizes! Entries close June 1st so hurry up and get that film in NOW!

Now in its third year, My RØDE Reel is an international short film competition hosted by RØDE Microphones and a select team of partners, designed to encourage and promote independent filmmakers.

There are heaps of different award categories including multiple genre awards and specific prizes for different technical areas.
